Q. How do the cards work?
A. There are games in every issue or click on the Game Rules button to the left.
Q. How many cards are there in total?
A. There are 825 different cards in total – 275 in the Exterminator set, 100 in the Annihilator set, 225 in the Invader set and 225 in the new Ultimate Monsters set. Plus, extra to the sets is a Golden Ticket card, which is the rarest card of all – there’s only one in every thousand packs!
Q. How many cards will I get in a pack?
A. Each pack contain 9 cards, some will have a 10th super-rare or ultra-rare card if you are lucky. The packs that come with the Battles in Time magazine from part 40 contain a mixture of cards from the Invader and Ultimate Monster sets. There are 12 cards in each pack, 5 commons and 1 rare from each set. If you’re lucky you might get a 13th super-rare or ultra-rare card.
Q. How rare are the different cards in the Ultimate Monsters set?
A. The Ultimate Monsters set is made up of 225 cards in total - 185 common cards (8 in every pack); 25 rare (1 in every pack); 10 super-rare (1 in every 6 packs); and 5 ultra-rare (1 in every 24 packs). The mixed Invader and Ultimate Monsters packs that now come with the magazine have 10 common cards (5 Invader and 5 Ultimate Monsters) and 2 rare cards (1 Invader and 1 Ultimate Monsters) in every pack. 1 in every 6 packs will also contain a super-rare card and 1 in every 24 packs will contain an ultra-rare. Per pack odds are not guaranteed and are based on a random sample. The contents of the Invader and Ultimate Monsters sets are subject to change.
Q. I’ve got a few cards missing from my collection. Can I buy them individually?
A. Sorry, there are no plans to do this.
